Safeway

Terrible experience, 4 different times! It's not good, no employees, the ones there are overworked and angry. The moral is sad. Now there's security. I would go to another chain! The west side Safeway ain't much better! People change?!

Store is chaotic. 2 cashiers, 40 people in line. Cashier forgot part of my order in bags. He also put the persons order in front of me on my receipt. Came in to the store sort it out, was told to call corporate. Very rude employee. Called corporate who finally got the manager, Steve, to call me. Emailed him all the info, my receipt. Nothing. No resolution. Zero. Won't return calls now. Store employees that answer the phone are barely alive. Called corporate again. They said to dispute my entire order with my credit card company as they also couldn't get anyone on the phone. Now I'm in that limbo. So short staffed, deli closes at 4pm. Just all around, this store sucks. Nothing like it was years ago. Shopper beware.

I ordered a custom cake yesterday. I was so impressed with the ease of designing my own cake on line. When the order went to the local bakery at mt Rushmore road Safeway - the staff there picked up on a change that she could make that further improved the visual appearance of the cake. All my guests were “wowed” with the appearance and taste of the cake. Thank you Safeway bakery staff!

Self checkout wouldn’t give me the 50% off and no one could help me. Yes I put in my membership number. Disappointing

I needed to grab some seafood salad evening of 2/28/2026 at about 6:30pm, the seafood 'specialist' was extremely rude, nasty attitude and looked at me as if I was bothering him. I asked what was the ingredients included and he just pointed at the label....I was astonished at the lack of enthusiasm, professionalism, or care. I will never go back to this trash store again with their narcissistic attitude and super high prices. Walmart has my business. Fire this trash employee with red hair, unbelievable.
